A wedding is an opportunity to share your love and commitment with friends and family. Your wedding ceremony is an opportunity to stir up their emotions with tears of laughter and joy. I am a licensed New York and Ohio State Wedding Officiant. My ordination with the Universal Brotherhood Movement allows me to legally wed couples in many other states as well. Is your state one of them? I have no idea; I don't know where you live!
I am a Certified Life-Cycle Celebrant™. A Celebrant serves as writer, editor, director, show runner and host, making your ceremony meaningful and enjoyable. I am as dignified and respectful as everyone expects a Celebrant to be, but I include more humor than anyone expects to hear in a ceremony, much to the guests' and most couples' relief. My process is designed to allow me to know the couple so well that guests wonder if I am a friend of theirs. The truth is, by the time the wedding day rolls around, I am a friend - the best kind of friend you can possibly have: a friend who knows what he's doing.
It is my great pleasure to personalize wedding ceremonies for couples who are genuinely in love. This is your story. I will help show what you want the world to see, make clear what you want the world to understand, illuminate shy facts and highlight what everybody already knows in a new way. Your ceremony can be traditional or nontraditional, opposite-sex or same-sex, single-faith, multi-faith, omni-faith, sine-faith, or a faith that defies definition.
I also do elopement ceremonies! Elopements are just like big weddings, only much smaller, and completely different.
